THE VERSATILE WAY OF USING ''KONTOMIRE ''

In my country in Ghana Kontomire stew or soup is very common among every tribe. But am going to help you make "Kontomire" stew and tell you the different ways of using it. Will also let you know the Nutrients we get from eating "kontomire".

Here is a picture of "Kontomire" stew.

HOW TO COOK KONTOMIRE STEW.

INGREDIENTS
1. Kontomire ground or cut
2. Eggs 2
3. Pepper 2 table spoon
4. Cut tomatoe
5. Smoke Fish or Sardine or Tuna
6. Koobi (salty Tilapia)  1
7. Palm oil
8. Cut Onions
9. Spices

1. Cut your kontomire to small pieces but wash it first with salty water to kill any bacteria. Either way, you can decide to cut or boil and ground it to paste. Any of that is OK.  After cutting. Boil it for like 10mins.  You can decide not to boil it but I like to boil.

2. Put your frying pan on fire, pour the palm oil inside. Let it heat up for about 2minutes..put your cut koobi (salty tilapia) in the palm oil. Let it fry for 4 minutes,  then go ahead and Add your chop onion, powdered pepper,  2 table spoon., it depends on each individuals and tomatoes in the pan.  Stir fry it for 4 to 6minutes then add your cut cooked kontomire in.

3. After about 6 minutes add your tuna, or smoke fish or Sardine in, break your eggs into another bowl, whisk it till white then pour into the stew, stir the stew for a while till you see the white eggs in it.  Go ahead and add salt and spices to taste.. Let it be on fire for 7minute, then remove it from the fire... It can be served with Boil Yam, Rice, cocoyam, Eba  or plantain....

Bon appetite....
